| Floor coatings possible at minus 26C° Change of use, wear-and-tear or damages in cold stores primarily affect the floors of such facilities. Repair using standard materials is impossible, given operating temperatures that lie around - 24C°. Until now, for work to be carried in such cold conditions, necessitated the use of costly heated enclosures, which had the disadvantage of limiting cold store operations. MC-Bauchemie now offers a new system for the rapid and reliable repair of floor areas in cold stores. From now on the heating-up of repair systems or the whole damaged areas, is no longer required. This is realised by special synthetic resin materials which are odourless and which do not release any harmful substances during application. These innovative systems have been specially designed for use in temperatures ranging from -18°C to -26°C. For localised break-outs, damaged joint shoulders and fixtures for impact protection MC-DUR 3500 KH is used. Large surface area repair, such as the repair of tracks or backfilling following milling works, are carried out with the cold store coating MC-DUR Cold Store Pro. Preparing the areas with a primer becomes obsolete. No specialist tools are required. The speed of the systems means the repaired areas become ready for use after just a few hours. A floor that is level and free of damage makes for a healthier environment for forklift drivers. The service life of the industrial trucks increases considerably. What's more, the actual transport of the products is gentler, which ultimately leads to a reduction in the amount of damaged goods. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
