| Volvo takes holistic view of equipment ownership at Bauma With a raft of new machine and service products on display, Volvo Construction Equipment is promoting its 'Total Solutions' ownership concept in Munich in April, making the company's presence at Bauma 2010 the highlight of the show. Volvo Construction Equipment has pulled out all the stops for its attendance at the world's biggest construction exhibition Bauma 2010 and is set to unveil an impressive display of new products and services. Demonstrating very much a forward thinking agenda, Volvo will unveil innovative new products and services under the guiding themes of being a global leader in fuel efficiency and a provider of total solutions to customers. In addition to a range of over 60 machines on the stand including highlights of the substantial fuel saving provided by the 'OptiShift' technology fitted to the new L150F, L180F and L220F larger wheel loaders there is also four new EC compact excavators in the 1.5 to 2 tonne class, two new compact wheel loaders, the L20F and L25F, improved pavers and two new single drum soil compactors. Throughout the Bauma 2010 display will be evidence of the Volvo commitment as a total solution provider; a comprehensive range of products and services designed to carry each machine through a long and productive life. The company's presence at Bauma will be divided into a 2,454 m2 indoor display area and a 7,410 mē outdoor demo zone. The indoor area will feature static new products and much of the space will be given over to the company's growing portfolio of service offerings.
