| Arcadis expands remediation contract in the U.S. Netherlands-based Arcadis, the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, announced that its GRiP contract for environmental remediation with Atlantic Richfield Company, a BP affiliate, has been expanded. Under the contract another portfolio was added, representing a contract value of close to $30 million. The earlier contract with Atlantic Richfield Company, which Arcadis won in August 2009, involves environmental remediation and site closure for a portfolio with existing environmental liabilities. Arcadis applies the GRiP (Guaranteed Remediation Program) approach to these sites to assure that each site in the portfolio will meet the environmental cleanup standards set by the regulators. The contract expansion underlines Arcadis strong position in the U.S. environmental market, based on its strong and innovative remediation capabilities and proven success in GRiP contract execution. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
