| New carbon steel, flux cored electrode  Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced a carbon steel, all position, flux cored electrode specially developed to raise welding performance and increase productivity. Encore is the new, made-in-America electrode that features a positive arc transfer that is deep penetrating, smooth and stable, with less smoke and spatter than imported electrodes. The fast freezing slag assures incomparable out-of-position weldability but, unlike most E71T-1 wires, Encore provides better arc starting and produces excellent horizontal fillets.
