WorleyParsons awarded contract in British Columbia, Canada

WorleyParsons has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management services contract for Spectra Energy's Fort Nelson North Processing Facility Project located in British Columbia, Canada. The project involves the design and construction of facilities, including a new natural gas plant, to process raw shale gas from the Horn River Basin area of northeast British Columbia. The new natural gas plant, located adjacent to Spectra Energy's existing Cabin Lake booster station will have the capacity to process 250 million cubic feet (7 million cubic metres) per day of inlet gas. The facility is scheduled for commercial start-up in early summer, 2012.
