New energy advantage ceramic metal halide lamps

Philips Lighting announced the introduction of its new family of Energy Advantage ceramic metal halide lamps featuring exclusive AllStart Technology. A direct retrofit lamp to both probe start and pulse start metal halide ballasts, the new lamps provide true universal operation regardless of orientation without compromising light quality and make installation and maintenance easier than ever. Ideal for high-ceiling industrial, retail, and distribution centers as well as outdoor applications, this powerful and high efficiency lighting solution is available in 205W and 330W versions in both clear and coated finishes.

Delivering crisp white light, the lamps feature a long rated average life of 20,000 hours as well as outstanding color rendering (CRI) of 85 (205W models) or 90 (330W models) to represent a high quality lighting solution that reduces both maintenance and recycling costs. The 205W and 330W lamps additionally deliver an attractive 100 lumens per watt, providing energy savings of up to 18% when compared to a 250W or 400W quartz metal halide lamp, respectively, and feature an "O" rating for operation in open fixtures.

Representing a revolutionary new approach to metal halide retrofits, Philips Lighting's new high-performing and energy-efficient 205W and 330W ceramic metal halide lamps with exclusive AllStart Technology deliver true universal operation and enable users to enjoy the benefits of a simple yet powerful lighting upgrade. Providing a single retrofit solution which replaces a broad range of less efficient quartz and ceramic metal halide lamps, Philips' Energy Advantage ceramic metal halide lamps with AllStart Technology represent a new standard in ease of installation and maintenance.
