| Ramboll steel expert awarded prestigious prize  Peter Collin, Market Director for Bridges in Ramboll in Sweden, receives the prestigious prize Silverbalken 2009 - awarded by the Swedish Institute of Steel Construction for outstanding research and development within the area of steel construction. In keeping with tradition, the prize ceremony was held in connection with the annual Swedish steel construction conference (Stålbyggnadsdagen) in Stockholm last month.Since 2007, Peter Collin has been professor at Luleå University of Technology. During his professional career, Peter has always been involved in the construction and development of composite steel girder bridges. Initially as research scientist at Luleå University of Technology, later at Ramboll in Sweden and at the Swedish Institute of Steel Construction for a three-year period.
