| Tikkurila adds color to Finnish pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo Kemira's paints and coatings business Tikkurila will provide surface treatment materials for Finland's pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. Kemira will participate in the fair as a partner of Finpro's Finland at Expo 2010 project. The Shanghai World Expo will run from 1 May to 31 October 2010. More than 70 million visitors are expected to attend the Expo, to be held in the very center of Shanghai. In keeping with the Shanghai World Expo's theme, Better City, Better Life, Finland's Kirnu ("Giant's Kettle") pavilion conforms to the principles of sustainable construction, while presenting solutions for urban construction of the future. Tikkurila products have been used for the steel frame, concrete floors and inner walls of the pavilion.
