Mitsubishi Electric enhances two styles of indoor units

Adding to its already extensive line of Variable Refrigerant Flow Zoning (VRFZ) cooling and heating products, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating Solutions, has enhanced two styles of indoor units. "These new indoor units illustrate our commitment to continuous improvement in our product offering" says Joe Bush, VRFZ application specialist, Mitsubishi Electric. "Both indoor units provide enhanced features to improve occupant comfort and aesthetic appeal: the PKFY unit mounts high on a wall and blends into any space while the PCFY, a ceiling-suspended unit is an innovative alternative to utilizing space rather than wall mounts or recessed models. Both products work well in a variety of settings from classrooms, to office buildings and restaurants."

The PKFY indoor unit features a flat panel design that is compact and lightweight, and is available in 6,000, 8,000, 12,000, 15,000, 18,000, 24,000 and 30,000 Btu/h sizes. The auto-vane feature delivers optimal air distribution and nearly uniform temperatures throughout a space. The front flap hinges open with no tools needed to gain quick access to the filter, which can be removed and easily cleaned. It also features a built-in receiver for a wireless remote controller accessory, part of the CITY MULTI Controls Network (CMCN).

The dimensions of the compact PCFY indoor unit make it an ideal product for classrooms, restaurants, kitchens and other large commercial spaces. It is available in 15,000, 24,000, 30,000, and 36,000 Btu/h capacities. Additionally, the PCFY is available with an optional i-see(TM) Sensor accessory, which automatically detects temperature disparity within the space and automatically adjusts for maximum comfort.
