| NCC to construct tunnel and road in Trondheim NCC Construction Norway is to construct a new section of the E6 freeway in Trondheim on behalf of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. The contract comprises 500 meters of new tunnel and road. The total order value amounts to approximately SEK 660 million. The project is a part of the Roads Administration's E6 freeway project between Trondheim and Stjördal. NCC's contract comprises a new four-lane section of the E6 between Pirbrua and Möllenberg in central Trondheim. The length is approximately 500 meters, of which about 300 meters comprises a concrete tunnel that will be built on a clay foundation. The new tunnel will subsequently be linked to a mountain tunnel, thus forming a 2.5-kilometer tunnel that will reduce the traffic burden and create a better environment in central Trondheim. Project planning will commence immediately.
