Ramboll wins design of new Murmansk Oil & Gas Business Centre

At the initiative of Norwegian investors BB Eiendom AS and the state owned Innovation Norway, Danish engineering group Ramboll proposed a design for a new 60,000 m² business centre in Murmansk. The centre is aimed at the oil and gas industry in the Barents region. The customer and their Russian collaborators have chosen the proposal from Ramboll as the best solution. Murmansk Oil & Gas Business Centre is a multi-functional resource center and office cluster that encourages the establishment of new businesses related to the development of oil and gas in the Barents region.

This project primarily consists of modern general office environments that are organised using a flexible wing structure that can easily be divided into custom tenant groups of varying sizes and structures. Work units are grouped around a generous common atrium that contains service functions, meeting rooms, restaurants and cafes. In connection with this atrium is also a hotel that houses a learning center, meeting rooms and conference facilities.
