| Icade opens France's largest shopping centre of 2009 French real estate investment firm Icade inaugurated the new Odysseum shopping centre in Montpellier. The Odysseum shopping centre is at the heart of an enormous development project over more than 140 000 m², including leisure and retail facilities. The building's architecture, conceived by Design International and DGLa, blends mythology with Homeran Odyssey, and modernity with a Space Odyssey. Its contemporary design reflects the conquest of space and modern technology, with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel and glass.
