Budimex to construct a highway in Poland

The Rzeszow regional office of the Polish Roads Agency has selected Budimex Dromex as the "best value proposal for the design and implementation of 25 km of the A4 highway, which represents an investment of close to 234 million euros (969.2 million zlotys).

With the signature of this contract, the consortium will assume responsibility for the design and construction of the Rzeszow - Korczowa stretch of the A4, in the Southeast of the country. The deadline for completing the project will take effect within a month, and the project is expected to be finalized on 13 April 2012.

The A4 highway, which links Jarosław with Radymno, is the main route connecting Germany and southern Poland and creates a nexus for the movement of vehicles between western Europe and the Ukraine and southern Russia. Furthermore, Budimex Dromex will construct several roads in Warsaw.
