| Atkins to design Glasgow College campus The UK's biggest and most ambitious educational project, the Glasgow 'super campus', will be designed by a multidisciplinary team from Atkins. The project is being run by New Campus Glasgow Ltd and the development will bring three Glasgow colleges together to create one integrated campus in Glasgow's City Centre. The project is being funded by the Scottish Funding Council in partnership with the three colleges: Central College Glasgow, Glasgow Metropolitan and Glasgow College of Nautical Studies. Building work is likely to begin in early 2012 and due for completion in 2014, when Glasgow will be hosting the Commonwealth Games.
