| Schindler announces changes to management committee The board of directors of Swiss elevator and escalator maker Schindler Holding Ltd. has decided that, as of January 1, 2010, the existing zone responsibilities in its core business are to be reorganized, resulting in changes in the composition of the management committee. Europe is to be separated into two zones – north and south – so as to strengthen the organization and better serve those markets. The zone EMIA will no longer exist and the markets served by that zone will instead be divided between the new zones of Europe-North and South. Mr Thomas Oetterli, former head of the Swiss subsidiary, Schindler Aufzüge AG, will become head of Europe-North, and Mr Didier Gaudoux, former Vice President Europe South Air Liquide, will head Europe-South. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
