Attorney-General's Department moves into new headquarters

The Attorney General's Department has completed the move into its new headquarters at 3-5 National Circuit in Canberra, which was recently officially opened. Australian mega-builder Bovis Lend Lease was responsible for the design and construction of the building for owner and developer Industry Superannuation Property Trust (ISPT).

The state-of-the-art 3-5 National Circuit building has a net lettable area of approximately 20, 000 square metres and is now fully occupied by the department. It comprises two basement carpark levels, a ground floor area housing office areas and a childcare centre, as well as three upper levels of office accommodation.

Bovis Lend Lease was awarded the contract for the design and construction of the project for ISPT in April 2007. The company was subsequently awarded the construction management contract for the integrated fitout by the Attorney General's Department.
