| Toyo awarded project in China Japan-based Toyo Engineering Corp (Toyo) has been awarded a project for a 80,000 tons/year polycarbonate resin production facility that will be built by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Inc. and Mitsubishi Engineering-Plastics Corp. in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in China. Construction of the plant is scheduled to commence in the spring of 2010 and the production will begin in 2012.
