| Flush-style residential sprinkler Viking Corporation introduced a new 71 K factor, "flush-style" sprinkler to its leading Freedom residential line. With its low flow and pressure requirements, the new model VK476 pendent sprinkler is both a hydraulically-efficient and aesthetically-pleasing solution for protecting all types of residential applications, including ceilings with beams. The new residential flush sprinkler is cULus listed for up to 6.1 x 6.1 m rooms. The sprinkler, which has a 74° C temperature rating, is also listed for use with sloped ceilings with a 18.4° pitch. Additionally, the new sprinkler may be used to protect ceilings with beams up to 254 mm in depth, with the sprinkler installed on the underside of the beam. With its low profile, the new Freedom residential flush sprinkler has an attractive installed appearance. Included with the sprinkler is a slip-on outer ring, which enables up to 16 mm of vertical adjustment.
