| Amec says 1H profit up 25 pct British engineering group Amec reported a 25 % increase in first-half profit and said it was on track to meet its EBITA margin goal of 8.5 % for 2010. The group posted earnings before interest, tax and amortisation of 94.5 million pounds on revenue broadly flat at 1.26 billion pounds.
