Located at Manchester Central Park, the new HQ will provide accommodation for around 1, 500 people in a six-storey pre-cast concrete and glass building, designed to meet the needs of complex inter-department relationships and operations. Arranged around a central atrium, open plan offices will encourage interaction between departments and strengthen communication. The building has been designed to achieve an excellent BREEAM rating. The £26 million extension to the contract with Delancey and Invista Real Estate for the Rolls Building, involves the fit out of 180, 000 square feet on behalf of the tenant, Her Majesty's Courts Service. The Rolls Building will consolidate the work of various jurisdictions of the High Court, which are currently dispersed across a number of properties into one modern facility, which is also designed to achieve an excellent BREEAM rating. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
