| BAM wins Ghent University PPP-contract Ghent University has awarded the PPP-project Kantienberg-Overpoort in Ghent to Dutch construction giant Royal BAM. The project includes design, building, financing and maintenance of approximately 650 student apartments and an underground parking, as well as redevelopment of the university restaurant at the Overpoort. For BAM this DBFM contract has a value of approximately €100 million. Contractual close and financial close are due to be reached in October. The apartment building is designed by Huiswerk architects in Antwerp. The first apartments will be ready in 2011.
