| Hammerson sets opening date for Union Square in Aberdeen British property firm Hammerson said Union Square, its latest retail regeneration scheme, will open to the public on the 29th October 2009. The development is bringing over 1,000 retail and leisure jobs to Aberdeen as well as new retailers to the city. Union Square comprises a main covered mall with glazed atrium as well as a premium, retail park and will be the first combined retail offer of this kind in Scotland.
