Emcor installs systems at San Diego County Operations Center

Emcor Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its Dynalectric San Diego subsidiary has received a contract for the installation of electrical systems for two new buildings as part of the expansion project at the San Diego County Operations Center in San Diego, California.

Dynalectric San Diego will be responsible for the installation of all electrical systems required for the two buildings as part of an expansion project. Scope of work includes installing site infrastructure raceways for teledata, security, and fire alarm systems; extending the County Operations campus loop from the central plant to a new gas switch which feeds the two new four-story, 150,000 square foot office buildings; core and shell electrical construction including fire alarm system in each building; installation of site lighting in areas adjacent to each building; and installing a 2,000KW emergency generator supplying full load to one of the buildings. Both building expansions are designed to comply with the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Silver Certification rating.
