UK construction giant Balfour Beatty announces that it has been selected as one of Stoke-on-Trent City Council's two design and build partners for their £250 million Building Schools for the Future programme.

The contract involves the delivery of the City's major investment programme covering the building and refurbishment of the secondary and special schools throughout Stoke-on-Trent, including five new-build academies. Work on the construction project is scheduled to commence in Autumn 2010.
