| New line of energy efficient homes Schumacher Homes introduced an innovative line of energy efficient homes called the G-Line. The G-Line provides a unique combination of Design Driven and Carbon Conscious homes specifically developed for the homebuyer that is looking to make a statement and help protect the environment. The unique designs in this collection of custom homes provide a synergy between traditional and contemporary style, but just as importantly embody the principals of sustainable design to decrease negative impact on the environment. Each home comes with an array of carbon conscious standard features including high-efficiency HVAC systems, spray foam insulation in exterior walls and water saving lav faucets and shower heads. In addition, every home will be Energy Star certified in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Government. Each one of these features contributes to lower energy bills, energy conservation and an eco-friendly design. "We believe today's homebuyer is concerned with the effects that every aspect of our lives have on our environment, but also wants a unique and progressive architectural design. That's why the G-Line has been designed to be both energy efficient and uniquely individual. And with homes starting in the low $100's, the G-Line provides an affordable opportunity to build the home they desire," states Paul T. Schumacher, CEO and founder of Schumacher Homes. The G-Line will initially offer 12 new plans with 24 total elevations split evenly between the Next Gen Traditional line and the Eco Contemporary line. Schumacher has a variety of additional architectural styles and builds homes from the low $100's to over $750,000 and from 1300 sq. ft. to over 8000. More than 300 floor plans can be viewed on the Schumacher Homes intuitive, user-friendly and informative website. Each floor plan can be customized to meet the buyer's needs. Schumacher offers their customers new homes in multiple styles, including one-story, two-story, American Tradition, Craftsman, French Country, Coastal and Mountain-Cabin styles.
