| Turner wins orders from the US healthcare and education sectors Turner Construction Company, the US' leading general builder, is to build a medical administration center for just over Euro 66 million (US-Dollar 93 million) in Atlanta (Georgia). In Rochester (New York), Turner will be renovating and extending schools with a construction value worth almost Euro 47 million (US-Dollar 66 million). The new administration center in Atlanta will be built on site at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Following completion in 2011, it will have a total surface area of almost 30,000 square meters. It is aimed to achieve LEED Gold Certification for green building for this center, which will be called "Building 24". In New York State, Turner will be renovating existing facilities at five schools and building almost 5,000 square meters of additional classroom space.
