| JGC and Tecnimont win contract for project in Abu Dhabi Japan's JGC Corp and its partner Tecnimont S.p.A., Italy, announced that they have received Award Notification from Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO) to provide the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services for the Habshan 5 Process Plant, a part of the Integrated Gas Development (IGD) Scheme in Abu Dhabi. The Habshan 5 Process Plant, which is located in an inland and desert area 150 kilometers southwest of Abu Dhabi, calls for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the core units including Gas Processing Unit (approximately 2, 000 mmscfd), Sulphur Recovery Unit (approximately 5,000 ton/day) and NGL Recovery Unit (approximately 1,200 mmscfd). The work will be executed by a joint venture (50/50) of JGC, as leader, and Tecnimont S.p.A, the main operating company of Maire Tecnimont Group. The contract will be on a lump-sum turnkey basis for approximately US$ 4,700 million, the largest contract ever awarded to JGC, and calls for the facilities to be completed in 2013.
