| Italy's Saipem board approves merger of Snamprogetti Sud Saipem's board of directors resolved that Snamprogetti Sud (a company fully owned by Saipem) is to be merged into Saipem S.p.A., in accordance with the scheme approved by the Board on 25 May 2009.
