| Procter & Gamble starts conversion to DuPont ISCEON refrigerant Procter & Gamble, one of the world's largest producers in the 'Fast Moving Consumer Goods' sector, has started the phase out of ozone-depleting R-22 refrigerant, used in cooling installations at its production facilities in Warsaw, Poland. In its place, P&G has chosen DuPont ISCEON MO29 (R-422D) refrigerant as the most efficient, environmentally-sustainable and economical alternative. P&G's modern production plant and distribution centre, located in the Warsaw district of Targówek, represents the company's largest investment in Central and Eastern Europe. The plant's flagship products are Pampers diapers, produced not only for the Polish and EU market, but also for more distant destinations such as the Lebanon, Taiwan or South Africa. Before the retrofit, P&G's Warsaw plant used R-22 refrigerant for its air-conditioning and process cooling systems. The initial conversion to ISCEON MO29 involved the water-cooled water chiller systems. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
