| Vinci wins phase 2 of Cairo metro line 3 Vinci Construction Grands Projets, as consortium leader, has signed a contract with Egypt's National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) for the civil engineering works package of Cairo's metro line 3. In addition, Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires, as part of a separate consortium, has won the track installation works package. The civil engineering contract, worth €323 million, calls for building a 7.2 km section of tunnel and four underground stations, which are scheduled for opening in October 2013 after 51 months of works. Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires, a Vinci subsidiary, has been declared winner of the track contract, worth €20 million.
