| New range of water storage tanks Online storage tank supplier TankDepot.co.uk, is perhaps best known for its range of fuel oil tanks. However, the UK company has recently added a new range of Water Storage Tanks, designed to satisfy demand for an affordable and regulatory compliant water storage solution at 'off mains' installations. Available in both Potable and Non Potable guises, the new Harlequin range is available in a choice of 7 different capacities from approximately 920 litres to 10,100 litres. The Potable range is approved in the United Kingdom by WRAS – the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme – and has been engineered primarily for the safe storage of water for human consumption. For ease of installation, all Potable models with a capacity of 1,095 litres and greater are supplied complete with factory fitted manhole access, together with WRAS approved tank connection pack. The Non Potable range has been designed for storage of water at installations where stored product will not be consumed by humans. Like the Potable range, the Non Potable range includes 2 Slimline models, which are ideal for installation at smaller domestic premises due to their compact base dimensions and space-saving design. Both ranges are manufactured from a premium grade of Medium Density Polyethylene and will never rot or rust. Impermeable to water, all Harlequin Water Tanks are manufactured from a UV stabilised, pigmented polymer which virtually eliminates the risk of algae forming inside the tank. Steve Beech, Director with TankDepot.co.uk says, "Designed for external, aboveground installation, the new Harlequin range are practical, reliable and affordable. The market for potable and non-potable water storage solutions continues to grow and this new range builds upon a manufacturing pedigree that stretches back almost thirty years and has been engineered to exceed the most demanding technical, regulatory and market requirements." write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
