| Emcor subsidiary wins contract for John W. McCormack Building Emcor Group, Inc. announced that its Emcor Government Services subsidiary has received a contract from the United States General Services Administration's (GSA) Public Buildings Service at the John W. McCormack Federal Building in Boston, MA. This facility will serve as the new home for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) New England, the largest tenant in the building. The McCormack Building has been undergoing a significant renovation that, once completed, is anticipated will enable the facility to attain a Silver LEED rating by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The award to EGS of this assignment was based, in part, on its expertise in servicing and operating LEED facilities and green environments. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
