| Iberdrola Ingeniería wins its largest contract in Mexico Iberdrola Ingeniería y Construcción (Madrid, Spain), has been awarded its largest contract in Mexico, amounting to $160 million for the expansion and modernisation of the electricity infrastructure of the Veracruz and Chiapas provinces. This new contract bolsters the Spanish company's position in Latin America, where it is already developing major energy engineering projects in Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, valued at approximately €680 million. Iberdrola's subsidiary won the tender, held by the Mexican government's Federal State Commission (CFE), in a consortium with Elecnor and Eléctricas de Medellin.
