| CRO names Fluor to Best Corporate Citizen List Fluor Corp announced that it was named a "Best Corporate Citizen" by the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association (CRO) and is the lone engineering & construction firm on CRO's Top 100 list. Companies were ranked based on factors including transparency, environmental performance, climate change, human rights, philanthropy, employee relations, financial performance and governance using 343 separate data points. CRO's 10th annual 100 Best List, compiled by IW Financial and edited by CRO, is based solely on publicly available information, thus ensuring transparency. The methodology was debated and voted on by 27 leading corporate responsibility practitioners representing nine major industry segments at the CRO Conference in Chicago in late 2008.
