Glass folding façade SL 82 Streamline

Glass, minimalism and austere geometry are the design elements which are dominant in modern architecture. With their newly developed product SL 82 Streamline, Solarlux provides glazing which fits with these design concepts. SL 82 Streamline is a heat insulated all glass folding façade with edge-to-edge glass panels. The new development gives the impression of being almost frameless. A narrow aluminium surround, only 8 mm wide, offers optimum edge protection to the glazing. The all-glass effect of the edge-to-edge- panel is achieved by layered sheets of glass overlapping the frame profile.

With a unit thickness of 80 mm and a panel height of 2500 mm, the SL 82 Streamline can be used as external folding façades for dwelling houses as well as façade in larger projects. The flush recessed floor track provides easy access so that the façade can be used for business entrances as well as entry/exit points with access for wheel chairs for example.

The locking system is designed in such a way that the folding façade can be locked in any partly open position. The façade can be fitted with a set of handles bolted through the glass and with a profile cylinder lock.
