AIA/HUD Secretary Awards recognize four housing projects

The American Institute of Architect's (AIA) Housing and Custom Residential Knowledge Community, in conjunction with the Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), recognized four recipients of the 2009 AIA/HUD Secretary Awards. This year's jury recognized projects in the categories of community-informed design, creating community connection, and excellence in affordable housing design.

The awards were presented during the 2009 AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in San Francisco.
