| Cegelec to build new control system for SIR French electrical engineering company Cegelec has signed a turnkey contract with Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR) to design, procure, build and commission a new control system for SIR's HSK3 hydroskimming unit. Work will begin this summer and involve up to 200 people on site during the largest phase of the project. SIR, Ivory Coast's largest industrial enterprise, is gradually upgrading since 2002 its production facilities with digital control systems. The system to be deployed by Cegelec at HSK3, combined with a programmable safety controller, will significantly improve the unit's monitoring, safety and availability. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
