| FLSmidth to acquire EEL India Limited FLSmidth has signed an agreement to acquire EEL India Limited, which is India's market leading manufacturer in the field of cement material handling and bagging equipment. EEL India Limited's product range includes rotary packers for bag packing and bag loading systems, silo feeding and extraction systems, bulk loading systems as well as rotary & stationary big bag filling systems for the cement and related industries. It has three manufacturing facilities close to New Delhi and employs 225 people on a permanent basis as well as a large number of contractual employees. The annual turnover is 200m DKK (Rs. 2000m). The acquisition of EEL India Limited will support the similar business of FLSmidth's larger product company Ventomatic, Italy, which is successfully expanding globally and therefore requires additional production capacity.
