Machine protection RapidProtect 2000 makes automation safer

The requirements for automated finishing processes are many: reliability, low down times, little demand for room space, high production speeds, easy accessibility for repair and maintenance. And these are only some of the demands posed on increasingly automated production. On the other hand, the protection of the employees is a main requirement in production processes where the potential for danger increases. This means that production processes must be able to go from full operation to a complete halt in seconds. Here is where the RapidProtect 2000 steps into operation, a top quality door. The machine protection door, RapidProtect 2000, is one of the fastest doors in its class. A long life, maintenance free operation and little space requirement make the door unlike any other machine protection door on the market.

A fixed door curtain, stable, non-touching winding panels and optional windows are essential features of the new machine protection door.

The RP 2000 offers complete protection from flying sparks, dust and welding spatter, keeping people or machines in the area safe. Microprocessor controls allow the door to be fitted for customers desires and to be easily integrated into individual automation concepts. Of course customisation of details according to special company standards are also possible and part of our standard operation. The doors follow EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC EN_62061 and show an absolute reliability to the second even after years. The RapidProtect 2000 can be installed anywhere, where highly automated production processes in small spaces meet operating personnel. Areas for application include welding machines, cutting and dying systems, tool handling, presses, conveying systems and lift/ high storage systems.

The tried and tested RapidProtect 300 MP that has been successfully in use for a long time is of course still available (incl. the newly developed MCC controls that shorten operation times). Moreover the door is also available with a safety switch in line with the new standards (EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC EN_62061).
