| Baucon Yapex is poised to expand Baucon Yapex, International Trade Fair for Building Materials, Construction Technology and Building Renovation, takes place in Antalya, Turkey. This year it is being held from 22 to 25 October 2009, at the Antalya Expo Center. Over 300 international exhibitors are expected to attend. Throughout the region there is an exceptionally high level of demand for building materials and construction technology of all kinds, and for corresponding specialist products and technology. For the whole of Turkey and in particular for the region of Antalya, there are further official expansion plans, for example, in the tourism sector. Priority is being given to the construction of new tourist centres, above all in the region of Antalya, and to the construction of many public buildings. In a special exhibition entitled 'Solar Power', the 2009 event will cater to the potential in the sun-blessed Mediterranean countries and the whole of the Middle East for exploiting solar energy.
