| Fluor cancels Kuwaiti refinery contract Fluor, the US engineering giant, announced that it has received notification from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) to stop work on the utilities and offsites for the al-Zour refinery. Fluor has approximately 300 employees performing engineering work on the project.
