| Phoenix drill series  BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. introduces expanded offerings to the Phoenix drill series, the newest dimension to the Sphinx product line. The heavy-duty, solid carbide Phoenix drill helps achieve 10 times more productivity than with conventional solid carbide counterparts. The Phoenix has expanded from 6xD to now include 3xD and 12xD sizes. The drills are available in diameters from 1mm - 12.7mm, in .1mm increments, with coolant through from 2.5mm and a Helica coating. Special dimensions are available upon request. The Phoenix drill's specially-designed high performance flute and point geometry assure low cutting forces and optimum chip control. Internal coolant makes the Phoenix ideal for cutting extra-hard materials such as steel, stainless steel, cast iron and titanium.
