| Flatiron wins award for I-35W Bridge replacement in Minneapolis Flatiron, one of the largest transportation and infrastructure contractors in North America, beat 12 other nationally recognized projects to take home the Associated General Contractors/Aon Grand Award for the I-35W Bridge replacement in Minneapolis, Minn. This award is the highest honor given by the AGC for the most significant construction project of 2008. Flatiron, with joint venture partner Manson Construction, worked with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to rebuild the I-35W Bridge over the Mississippi River after the old bridge collapsed in August 2007.
