| Three new evaporative coolers under SCOTTair brand Scott Brothers Ltd., the specialist distributor of innovative portable cooling solutions, announced the introduction of three new evaporative coolers under its recently launched SCOTTair brand. SCOTTair is exclusive to Scott Brothers and the new additions complement the company's extensive range of domestic coolers, providing a solution for most types of working environment, now including commercial and industrial applications. The new models extend the capacity range, which now enables areas from 15m2 to 120m2 to be cooled effectively using portable equipment, including the SCOTTair SA15 (for areas up to 30m2), the SCOTTair SA35 (for areas up to 45m2) and the SCOTTair SA06 (for areas up to 80m2). All portable evaporative air coolers from Scott work on the principle of natural air cooling using a low energy fan and the evaporation of cool tap water to reduce the ambient room temperature by up to 30C. The SCOTTair models are particularly suited to the hire market as they are ideal as portable cooling solutions, and are also suitable for larger open spaces, making them perfect for use at events such as weddings and corporate functions. The SCOTTair SA15 is a compact yet powerful evaporative air cooler: weighing just 20kg and fitted with independent castors, it is extremely portable. The powerful centrifugal fan gives a maximum air flow of 1, 500 m3/h from a low energy motor using just 170 watts. With a 30 litre capacity water tank it is suited to commercial or domestic applications for areas up to 30m2. For areas up to 45m2 the SCOTTair SA35 generates a staggering 3, 500 m3/h air flow rate from a low energy (280 watts) motor. With a 35 litre capacity water tank it is ideal for cooling large open areas, such as reception areas, marquees and offices. Specifically designed for commercial applications for areas up to 80m2, the SCOTTair SA06 is a robust evaporative air cooler supplied on a steel stand with castors for extra portability. The powerful axial mounted fan gives a maximum air flow of 6000 m3/h from a low energy (290 watts) motor. It is fitted with a large 30 litre capacity water tank and direct water feed. All models in the Scott range utilize a cooling method which is both energy-saving and environmentally friendly, cooling the air and creating a healthy microclimate. Unique and indispensable, all new SCOTTair coolers are supplied with a long-distance remote control for added convenience and feature an LCD display panel. With a modern aesthetic design the units are also suitable to cool environments such as surgeries, dentists and florists where appearance is important. With all Scott coolers no installation is required and all are extremely quiet - operating in a range between 50dB and 71dB. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
