| Miller's new Wildcat 200 wlder generator Designed for the maintenance and repair professional, farm and ranch operator, and fabrication specialists, the new Wildcat 200 from Miller Electric Mfg. Co. provides industrial quality welding performance, durability and generator power in a compact, lightweight and affordable package. Featuring a fully enclosed case that protects the engine and internal welding components from damage by falling objects, dust and debris, the Wildcat 200 is capable of producing 6,500 watts of peak generator power and 200-amp DC Stick and TIG welding output. At 345 pounds, the Wildcat 200 is over 150 pounds lighter and 30 percent smaller than competitive models, providing owners with increased work truck storage space and fuel efficiency. Those size and weight advantages don't come at the cost of weld quality, however. The Wildcat 200 produces welding performance on par with its industry-leading cousin, the Bobcat 225. The Wildcat 200 uses a 14-horsepower Subaru engine and offers a three-year engine warranty (in addition to Miller's standard True Blue standard three-year warranty on the generator and welder). The seven-gallon gas tank provides 12 hours of run time using a 1/8-in. Stick electrode, allowing the unit to put in more than a full day's work without needing to be refueled. A simple-to-use interface makes the Wildcat 200 one of the easiest welder generators to set up and operate. Users can select the amperage range and electrode type using a coarse range switch and then adjust the fine control dial to tune-in the optimal arc. The Wildcat 200 also features a convenient front panel ignition switch and a back-up recoil start in the rear to ensure consistent and reliable starting every time. To maximize efficiency and save money for its owners, the Wildcat 200 offers an Auto-Idle feature that automatically senses when the unit is not being used and reduces fuel consumption and noise levels. The Wildcat 200 features a single 220V outlet and four 120V outlets to run a wide variety of tools and accessories, including plasma cutters, air compressors, pumps, lights and even back-up home power for refrigerators and other household appliances. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
