Hochtief units win deals in Asia

Hochtief's Australian subsidiary Leighton has been awarded mining contracts in Asia worth over EUR 1.36 billion through two of its affiliates. The Thiess (Indonesia) contract for the operation of the Senakin and Satui Coal Mines in South Kalimantan has been renewed for a further seven years at approx. EUR 1.18 billion (USD 1.52 billion). Leighton Asia has won a new contract for a coal mine in Ukhaakhudag, Mongolia. The project has a volume of around EUR 181 million euros (AUD 350 million) and a term of six years.
