| Impregilo wins project in Switzerland Italian construction firm Impregilo, through its Swiss subsidiary CSC Impresa Costruzioni SA, has been awarded a contract to build a road tunnel in Roveredo, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The project, awarded by the Federal Highways Office (USTRA), is worth a total of approximately 120 million Swiss francs (equivalent to approximately 80 million euro at the current exchange rate). CSC is involved as lead company of a consortium formed with the Swiss companies Frutiger AG and PraderLosinger AG. The 2.4 km tunnel, known as the San Fedele tunnel, is the main project of the Roveredo orbital road. It will relocate below ground the N13 national highway, which runs through the centre of the town. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Construction News :: home page |
