| Australia's Leighton unit joins alliance to deliver Eastern Busway Leighton Contractors will join Queensland Transport and SKM-Maunsell Aecom in an alliance to deliver the Eastern Busway – Buranda to Main Avenue project in Brisbane's south, after being selected as preferred construction partner by the Queensland Government. The project consists of a 1.05km two-way single carriageway busway which will connect the existing South East Busway at Buranda to Coorparoo via Stones Corner.
