| Balfour Beatty Group acquires CTH British construction and engineering group Balfour Beatty announces that Balfour Beatty WorkPlace, formerly known as Haden Building Management and a market leader in the provision of facilities management and M&E services to both the private and public sectors, has acquired Colledge Trundle and Hall Limited (CTH), which specialises in the design and installation of automatic energy control systems for buildings, for a consideration of £2.85 million cash. CTH operates in a number of markets that are complementary to Balfour Beatty WorkPlace's core business. Its customers include DEFRA, Sainsbury's and the University of Cambridge and, in addition, it is working on a number of PFI schools projects. Balfour Beatty WorkPlace was re-branded last month to reflect its position as a total facilities management provider.
