Mixer camera developed for concrete mixing plants

The new mixing camera from Ammann enables a visual evaluation of the mix. It enables the detection of concrete homogeneity, aggregate distribution and any nest formation prior to discharge. The industrial camera and the powerful cold light source are connected to a pneumatic armature on the mixer hood. Camera and light source are turned away from the mixing chamber during the filling and dry mixing process. A new feature is the ability to adjust the view within a broad scope. All parts in contact with the product are made of PE. The compact unit is fully enclosed and very maintenance-friendly. The mixer camera is now manufactured in-house at Ammann. The camera can be retrofitted to existing plants – using an intermediate flange if necessary. Replacements make use of the same electrical contacts as previous equipment.
